North Hill: Big Adventure Day Photos!

The North Hill Big Adventure Day on Saturday 31st August, was a great success with over 350 visitors throughout the day; including two mini-buses of visitors from Living Options Devon!

The main attraction of the day was the World War II vintage military vehicles which were paraded throughout the day and visitors even had a chance to ride in them! The old radar station was open all day, serving tea and coffee, and teaching people about the hidden history of North Hill. Following the theme of World War II, some war heroes in the form of racing pigeons were on display and released at midday.

The Exmoor Community Youth Club were busy all day providing face painting for people of all ages. With other activities ranging from orienteering challenges to slit trench restoration to handling snakes and Exmoor Pony petting ; it really was a great day out for all ages.

Once again, thank you to all of our volunteers and providers for helping to make it a brilliant day for all!

Here is a selection of photos from the day…
