8,000 years on Porlock Common

Who were the first residents of Porlock Parish? This walk will explore 8,000 years of human occupation of the moorlands around Porlock, informed by evidence gathered by volunteers as part of ‘Dig Porlock 2013’. To find out more about this community archaeology project visit our website or contact Porlock Visitor Centre. Come and join us on the moors. Appropriate footwear and clothing for rough moorland, and a packed lunch, are advised..!
