A free event, open to farmers, moorland managers and volunteers.

600swaling©2011jpball(5)Exmoor National Park Rangers demonstrate the traditional moorland management practice of swaling, using modern equipment. We hope to have some new equipment to demonstrate, as well as the supacat (pictured above).

Weather-dependent. There will be no burning unless conditions are dry, so PLEASE CALL 01398 322164  or email to book a place. We can then let you know if the burning is on.
