Watersmeet is a spectacular place – the beautiful river links the seaside town of Lynmouth to the landscape of its high moorland source where the stream arises.

National Trust - North Devon Blog

Hi eveyone, we just wanted to let you all know that Watersmeet house and tea garden will be open from saturday 16 until sunday 24 February from 11am until 3pm for lovely hot drinks and cake. There are plenty of gorgeous walks to be had on the well maintained footpaths and i know the leaves will not be out yet (as in these lovely photos) but there is plenty to see and do with the raging rivers full of crashing water and the birds becoming easy to spot as they start to defend their territories. We are situated on the A39 Barnstaple to Lynmouth road and are a perfect 1.5 miles walk from Lynmouth. To find out more, call 01598 753348.

Both Watersmeet and Heddon will be open seven days a week from the 9 March…..
