3 Responses to Gathering goats at Valley of Rocks

  1. Hi Devon Fibres,
Thanks for that. On your website http://www.devonfinefibres.co.uk/ it says you do courses on how to keep goats. Maybe you could run a short workshop on ‘goat gathering the easy way’!

Oh, you have a blog too > http://devonfinefibres.wordpress.com/

I live only a few miles from the Valley and have a flock of 200 semi feral goats which look virtually identical including 24 big bucks Always makes me smile to see loads of people chasing these goats round the valley. I’m sure they enjoyed the game! Here we manage them over 145 acres by just calling. Even without food they come. They key is bonding with one individual whom they trust. Shame there can’t be a full time goat herd up at the Valley. Might make everyone’s life easier. I’m sure cost is the issue.
