Moorland Classroom – unforgettable Exmoor experiences

The Moorland Classroom is a project to provide unforgettable outdoor learning experiences for children. If your school is within 25 kilometres of Exmoor National Park, we would love to hear from you.  Please contact David Rolls on 01398 322164 for details.

David – our Moorland Education and Outreach Officer – is helping to inspire and support school visits to moorland and an annual summer school. David is working closely with numerous partners, the Greater Exmoor Environmental Education Forum and Exmoor National Park Authority’s education team. One of the major tasks of this project is the creation of online educational resources.

Moorland - the Heart of ExmoorIn addition to the Heritage Lottery Fund, this particular project has funding from the Exmoor Trust, who gave £10,000 and money from the ENPA Sustainable Development Fund which has pledged £54,000 split between several of our projects in Programme 1: Reconnecting People and Moorland.
