Exmoor Awareness courses 2012 open for bookings
Join the 9th series of popular courses for tourism businesses
Thursday 1 March
A chance to learn more about the beautiful moors of Exmoor with the Heart of Exmoor team. Based at Simonsbath, the course will cover why moorlands are so special – you will learn about Exmoor’s treeless forest, visit the unique Victorian water-powered sawmill and take a trail to the abandoned mine at Wheal Eliza, accompanied by the River Barle flowing along this picturesque valley.
A tour-packed workshop, with lunch and refreshments in the ticket price – including a cream tea at Boevey’s Tea Rooms to finish the day.
