Why not enter this popular competition? North Devon Heritage Photographic Competition is open to anyone, of any age.

Special prizes for Moorland pictures!

We have teamed up with Museum of Barnstaple & North Devon to offer extra prizes for the best photos taken on the moorland landscape of Exmoor National Park. The moorland presents loads of opportunities to capture a great image… it might be breathtaking high moor, beautiful moorland rivers or majestic coastal heath.

Get out and get snapping!

The 6 categories for images are:

  1. Towns & Villages
  2.  The Coast & The Sea
  3. Landscape
  4. Characters
  5. Wildlife
  6. Anything Goes!

The closing date for entries is 17th October 2011. Tick the box for ‘Heart of Exmoor’  on the entry form, to be eligible for the moorland prizes.

The judges for this year are Robin Ravilious, Andy Robinson and Rob Tibbles. The awards presentation and critique will take place on Saturday 26th November from 2pm. Selected entries from the competition will feature in the ‘North Devon in Photographs’ exhibition at the Museum which runs 26th November 2011 to 14th January 2012.
