NORTH HILL BIG ADVENTURE
Saturday 27th Aug (End of Summer hols)

Discover hidden history and enjoy the fresh air on this free all-day family event on the coastal heath of North Hill, near Minehead. Discover the old wartime radar station, explore the Rugged Coast Path and enjoy the breathtaking views over to Wales and along the Bristol Channel.

Highlights include:

  • World War 2 vintage vehicles
  • Circus skill workshops
  • Prehistoric to the present day; guided walks with an Exmoor National Park archaeologist
  • Take a mini-beast safari and more, with OPAL
  • Get hands-on and help a National Park ranger on a practical conservation task
  • Meet an Exmoor Pony

Event times: 10am – 4pm. Location: The free car park on Hill Road, North Hill, Minehead. (link to Google map) North Hill is signed from Minehead High Street and there will also be ‘Big Adventure’ signs up on the day. Car parking and toilet facilities will be available.
